Frank Holmes

Frank Holmes is a nationally known artist and was born in Detroit. He now lives with his wife (also an artist) in Up State New York.

Frank studied at the University of New Mexico and graduated from Pratt Institute in 1962 with a B.F.A., and received is M.F.A. from Ohio University. He taught at Parsons School of Design, The New York Institute of Technology, and Ohio University. Frank paints still-life in an extremely realistic manner, yet one can see an under lying abstract quality in the work. Frank has been featured in American Artist Magazine.
