David Harms

David was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He then went to Colorado State University. In 1996 David started oil painting. But when he did his first plein air landscape, he was hooked. He credits his development as a painter to the valuable time that he spent with Michael Lynch. In 2001, David’s work was accepted into the Top 100 of the prestigious Arts for the Parks competition in Jackson Hole. He was later featured in 2004 in Southwest Art Magazine’s “Artists to Watch” column. David’s paintings can be seen in Fine Art galleries in New Mexico, Montana, Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming.
