Fran Dropkin

Fran Dropkin was classically trained in the European tradition. She began painting from her imagination in 1977. Fran does not begin with a white canvas……she does this……at the end of the week, Fran applies all of her left-over paints onto the canvas and creates an abstract field of color from where she begins her work. In 1977 she did a series of beach and still life paintings which gained her much fame in Germany where she has shown and sold ever since. In addition to Germany, she is in galleries in New York, California and Florida.
